The creators of an innovative music app allowing customers to ‘take control’ of online in-venue music playlists asked us to create designs for its launch. Bearing in mind the app’s revolutionary concept we took an ‘out with the old, in with the new’ approach to introduce the app to businesses and customers using exhibition stands, video and in-venue promotional materials. The colour purple was used throughout to give the designs consistency across photographic and more graphic representations, The manipulated vintage photograph of an American Civil War band and a play on the HMV dog gave the campaign a sense of fun and visual ‘stand-out’.
